Papa Has Gone to Heaven

Papa has now gone to Heaven after having fought so bravely for four months. I could never ever try to put into words his love for his family and our love for him. Papa was an extraordinary man. His virtues are innumerable. I cherish every memory I have of him. My dad was so excited and proud to be getting his little "China baby" granddaughter; he would tell everyone he came in contact with. I believe he is in Heaven looking down on Arabella in China and protecting her until we go to receive her. Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers and support during Papa's illness and recent passing. He was our angel on earth and now has gone home. God Bless.

Dear Yvonne,
Your post about your Papa brings tears to my eyes. I know how much your heart is hurting for him and how much you are missing him. We haven't had the chance to get to know each other very well except for a few gatherings thru the adoption community. Yet reading your post shows how much we have in common. Reno and I were born and raised in Phila with very close-knit Italian families. Family and Food are EVERYTHING!! There is nothing better:) Having recently lost Reno's dad, the whole family dynamic is forever changed and the pain is real and deep. I know your Papa is in Heaven watching over your precious Arabella until you can get to her. He is her guardian angel now, and forever.
I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers for the strength and comfort to get thru this painful time.
Hugs,
Trudi

Yvonne and Edwin,
Yes I cried reading about your Dad. I only met your Dad once and once was enough to know he loved his family and for me to know he was a great guy.He is watching over your baby and your family. He is not done making sure his loved are okay. Yvonne if you need a shoulder to lean on I have 2. They are a little weak from my own misfortunes, but never to weak for my friend. Love you both, Amelia

Very sweet Yvonne.
The lose of a loved one is so painful yet your tribute gave me a feeling that there is hope and a heaven. You have many smiles coming your way with Arabella Grace.
Best Wishes,
